Born on Wednesday, December 8, 1935, at General Hospital, Paterson, NJ. Robert C. & Frankie Bicknell lived at 600 W. Ridgewood Ave., Midland Park, NJ at the time. They were playing bridge Sunday when she went into labor.
In May, 1942 had Whooping Cough: 1.Preliminary stage - 2 weeks; cold beginning around May 18th. Varied in intensity. Seemed to get better and he went to school. Slight cough. 2.Sick stage - 1 week in bed; May 30 to bed with congestion, bad cough, spitting up (June 3 Dr); June 5 & 9 whooping cough injection; June 7 whooped at night; June 12 2wks of spitting up. (As per mother's note found in envelope after her death with birth congradulation letters.)

Met and married Barbara J Shannon in 1959. Received BFA in Photography in 1961.

Individual Note: On a Wednesday in Sept 1952 left for Genesee Hospital School of Nursing after graduating from Watertown High School in June 1952.
Entered Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, NY, in 1955. Graduated in 1958 with an AAS degree in Food Adminstration. Then worked as Food Production Manager at the RIT cafeteria (1959).
Besides having 3 Ceserian Sections for her children, Barbara had a Total Right Hip Replacement in May 1986 and a Total Left Hip Replacement in Dec 1998. OsteoArthritis had degraded both hips.
