Individual Note: From Obituary of Ralph Lazier via www.ultimatetributes.com:
Ralph joined the US Navy as soon as he was able in 1941. He served in the South Pacific during WWII. He was medically discharged around the age of 21 (1946) after surviving a gunshot wound to the ankle and shrapnel injury to his leg from a bomb.
Ralph settled in Sapulpa, OK after his discharge to be near his brother. He began working at Bartlett Collins Glass Plant where he met the love of his life, Marcelaine.
A couple of years after their 1947 marriage they moved to Northern CA to find work. They soon settled in the Los Angeles area in 1950 where they remained until returning to OK in 1990 to be closer to family.
Ralph worked at a few manufacturing plants and retired from Torrance Tubing in 1974 due to medical disability. Ralph then devoted his time and attention to raising his children: George, Angela, Bobby & Schawna and to keeping up his home.
