In 1903 began his years of service as Mrs. W. L. Bones, 129 Clinton Street, Chauffeur. Later drove for the late Reginald Gibson until he went to Buffalo during WW II from 1941 to 1945 to work in the Curtis Wright plant as a riveter. Upon his return he was chauffeur for Mrs. Charles Learned, 241 Mullin Street, until poor health forced his retirement in 1948.

Lived on Grand Avenue for 40 years. In 1945, after returning from Buffalo, they moved to 162 Woodruff Street.

Member of Lincoln League.

Designated to receive car when Mrs. Bones died, but Will never surfaced. He got $2500.

     Born on parents farm situated a mile out of Tylerville toward Copenhagen -- still standing 1972
In 1892 moved with family to house her father built on a hill above Tylerville -- still standing 1972.

Father operated a gristmill at Tylerville, at the foot of the hill, just before the bridge, and her mother, a general store, just over the bridge on the left side of the road. He was a member of the work crew which built the stone wall along the Franklin Street extension in Thompson Park and the pinacle lookout in the park.

Her father's ancestors came to the US from Holland and her mother's ancestors fled to New Amsterdam (New York) from France.

Worked at the former [1986] Campbell's Dry Goods Store on Franklin St. and worked as a nanny in the Watertown section after her husband's death.

Couple lived for 40 years at what in 1972 was 434 Pleasant St. The street was then known as Grand Avenue.

Jennie traveled extensively since 1941 and took her first airplane flight at the age of 93. She gave up her driving license in 1971.

Member of First Baptist Church for 69 years (a/o 1972) and its oldest active member. Served as a deaconess 12 years.

"Rest when you're tired, watch your diet and stay happy. If you can live to be old today and be loved by your family it's worthwhile." (1972)

Moved to Midtown Towers, Watertown, NY in ??

In 1982 (100) was resident of McAuley Hall Health Related Facility of Mercy Hospital and appeared on Channel 14 TV.
